What are Remix Stems? Raw Stems?

Remix stems are exported tracks of each instrument group in a song. The purpose of remix stems is to provide tracks for someone to either remix a song, re-write their own version with elements of the original, or incorporate aspects of the original song into their own music.
Licensing:
If you purchase one of our Stem Packs the licensing is set to 'Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0)' per the Creative Commons licensing system. This gives you the rights to:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
This means that if you buy the remix stems you can incorporate these files into your own music, or remix the song, and sell that new piece of music. However you must redistribute any derivative work with the files as the same licensing given from the original work, and give proper credit to the artist/band that created the original work.
Each product will describe what you are getting in the remix stem pack. However typically all distorted rhythm guitars will be combined in one track, all vocals in one track, all drums in one track, all lead synths in one track, etc. This is to allow for flexibility when remixing the song without pushing in the territory of providing 'Raw Stems'.
Raw stems would have each individual instrument layer as its own export with none of the track plugins applied to the export. The track would be edited (for example quantizing drums or pitch correcting vocals), but no compression, reverb, delay, limiting, etc would be applied. These packs take a considerable amount of effort to produce so they are priced accordingly relative to their 'Remix Stems' counterpart. Just to clarify, the Raw Stem Packs are also set to the same licensing as the Remix Stem Packs (Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0)).
