Angular String Evolutions by Spitfire Audio recently got an upgrade to their new standalone GUI system, no Kontakt required. If you haven't heard of Angular String Evolutions, its a collection of long, evolving chamber strings with a GUI that allows you to blend different articulations in a unique way. The raw sound of this library is incredibly rich and detailed, and the GUI system that Spitfire has created lends itself beautifully to the sound.

The Evo grid interface created by Spitfire Audio allows you to choose peg locations on a 12x48 grid arrangment, which selects sounds across 12 key ranges. The result is a seemingly infinite number of potential instrument configurations that change as you move across the keys.
Here is a video I made exploring the sounds of Angular String Evolutions.
