Genera Studios Update

This is an exciting day! I had been researching new platforms to run my store off of for many reasons. Up until now I have been using Wix as my store platform, and while it has a lot of excellent features it isn't really suited for this type of business. Digital products were limited to 1GB, free products had to be done with annoying discount codes, and you couldn't update products to include additional content for customers down the line.

I had been looking for months, but I think I found a great platform - Selz.

This new store platform will allow me to provide a much better service, even if it is less integrated to the site at the time (working on streamlining that process currently). Here are some of the new features i'll be able to provide for you:

• Much bigger products - 15GB per zip file, with the ability to have 50 files per digital download.

• Product bundles at discounted prices - due to the bigger file size limit

• The ability to update products over time, and push the new files to customers

• Free products that don't require the use of annoying discount codes

• The ability to offer services (like vocal lessons, or music mixing/mastering services)

I'm trying to grow this project I call Genera Studios drastically next year. Bigger and more detailed Kontakt Libraries, with a much better $/samples and $/GB metric, and free updates with extra presets or even instrument inclusions over time. Preset or sample packs with new content each month. Many bundles of various related products so you can choose the package you want at a better price.

Outside of what the new store platform will offer, i'm also planning on covering new software formats in the coming months and over the next year. Without spoiling the surprise too much, just know there will be presets for many other synthesizers and sample libraries for people who don't own the full version of Kontakt.
